Bel Air Field Hockey Advances to State Semifinals

The Bobcats earned the title of regional champs after a win against the Generals.

The Bel Air High School field hockey team scooped up the 3A regional title this week in a game determined by one point.

The Bobcats beat the Towson Generals, 1-0, at Bobcat Stadium on Wednesday, according to the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association.

Anna Farley scored the lone point for the Bobcats, whose coach told The Aegis it was an “amazing feeling to bring the title back to Bobcat Nation,” since Bel Air last claimed the regional field hockey title in 1994.

“We plan to continue to keep improving...” Bobcats team captain Morgan Domanico, a senior, told The Bellarion, Bel Air High School’s student news source at the beginning of the week.
