Bel Air Firefighters Called To TGI Fridays: Official

The Bel Air Volunteer Volunteer Fire Company investigated Wednesday night after there were reports of people ill.

BEL AIR, MD — An odor drew firefighters to TGI Fridays Wednesday night at Tollgate Marketplace. The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company found that a water heater possibly malfunctioned at the restaurant.

At 7 p.m., crews were called to the 600 block of Baltimore Pike for an odor in the back of the restaurant, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company. Firefighters determined that a water heater may have been responsible for the issue, he said.

While there were initial reports of people feeling sick, Gardiner said that nobody was taken to the hospital.
