Watch the Bel Air Independence Day Parade on July 4, 2018.

BEL AIR, MD — The Bel Air Independence Day Parade had some of the most entrants in recent years, said organizers. It was also the first time that all of the high school bands in Harford County participated in the Bel Air Fourth of July parade.

The parade started at 6 p.m. on Idlewild and South Main Street and ran a little less than two hours. Floats, bands, horses and others made their way along the route to East Gordon Street at North Main Street.

Main Street closed to vehicular traffic around 5:30 p.m. and reopened around 8 p.m.
