Bel Air Independence Day Parade 2019: 'Our Home Town'
Take a look at the 2019 Bel Air Independence Day Parade and festivities.
BEL AIR, MD — Under cloudy skies, the Bel Air Independence Day Parade went on, as its tradition has been, rain or shine. The community turned out to watch together as floats, marching bands, vehicles and local organizations filled Main Street for the July 4 celebration.
"It was AMAZING, and we had an awesome time," one woman wrote on the Bel Air Independence Day Committee's Facebook page after the event. She said it was her family's first time attending, since they moved to Bel Air last fall.
Another first-timer gave a rave review as well, stating it was "really a great parade," and he was surprised by the array of participants, including some hailing from southern Maryland.

One man who had experienced Bel Air's Independence Day festivities before said he was impressed with the traffic control.
"Not sure what has changed, but traffic on Lee Way was nowhere near as bad as in previous years," he posted on the Bel Air Police Department's post thanking the community for its cooperation.
