Bel Air Kite Festival Bumped To Sunday Due To Forecast Calling For Rain
The annual Bel Air Kite Festival, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been bumped to Sunday now that rain has been forecast for Saturday.
BEL AIR, MD — The annual Bel Air Kite Festival, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been moved to Sunday due to the chance of rain in the weather forecast for Saturday.
The Bel Air Kite Festival, sponsored by APGFCU and the town of Bel Air, offers family fun for kids of all ages. There will be free kites while supplies last, plus live music and food vendors. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rockfield Park Ball Fields, 501 East Churchville Road in Bel Air.
Free shuttle bus parking for the Bel Air Kite Festival will be made available at the Bel Air Parking Garage. Limited free parking is available at the Rockfield Park playground and ballfields lots and in the front lot at John Carroll School.
