Bel Air Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Utility Box, Tree

Harford County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a crash in which a 39-year-old Bel Air man was killed.

BEL AIR, MD — Detectives are investigating a Thursday night crash after a 39-year-old Bel Air man died in a single vehicle collision.

Harford County sheriff's deputies were called to Thomas Run Road near Edwin Drive around 7:10 p.m. for a report of a single vehicle crash. The driver, Bryan Schneider, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities. He was the only person in the vehicle.

Preliminary information gathered at the scene indicates that Schneider's vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason, hit a utility box and then a tree. Currently, speed is believed to be a contributing factor, officials reported.
