Man Killed In Main Street Hit And Run: Bel Air Police
Police said a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on Main Street in Bel Air Wednesday.
BEL AIR, MD — A man was hit and killed by a vehicle while walking on Main Street in Bel Air early Wednesday morning, according to police. The driver dragged the pedestrian, then left the scene, officials said, and there may be a reward for information in the case.
The fatal hit-and-run crash occurred at 12:14 a.m. on South Main Street between Office Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, according to the Bel Air Police Department.
Police found 24-year-old Alessandro Lori in the road on South Main Street when they were called about a pedestrian who had been hit, said Patti Parker, spokesperson for the town of Bel Air.

Witnesses told Bel Air police that a dark-colored pickup truck hit the man, then continued north on Main Street.
The victim's injuries were from being struck then dragged by a vehicle, according to authorities, who said he may have been walking in the road when he was hit.

It was not immediately clear whether he was taken to the hospital. The investigation is in the early stages, according to Parker, who said Lori has a Baltimore address but used to live in Bel Air.
Anyone who may have witnessed the deadly crash or who has information about the vehicle or its driver may call the Bel Air Police Department at 410-638-4500 or Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland. A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information.
