Bel Air Fan's Letter Featured on Sports Illustrated

A Bel Air Ravens fan's letter criticizing a Sports Illustrated cover picture was featured on the Sports Illustatrated web page this week.

Leading up to and following the Ravens' devastating defeat at the hands of the New England Patriots local Ravens fans showed unwavering team support.

For one Bel Air resident, the cover of the Sports Illustrated's playoff preview prior to that game was insulting to the Ravens team and the local fan was not afraid to say so.

The following letter appears on in the letters section of the Sports Illustrated website:

I don't understand the rationale behind the regional Steelers cover for your Jan. 9 NFL playoff preview. I know the sports world is in love with Pittsburgh, but let's look at the facts: The Ravens won the AFC North, beating the Steelers twice. A picture of Baltimore linebacker Terrell Suggs would have been more fitting.
