Bel Air Parade, Fireworks Go On in Rain
Weather was no match for the Fourth of July festivities in Bel Air.

Bel Air, MD — The town of Bel Air held a rainy but successful Fourth of July, with government officials issuing the following statement Monday night:
"The Bel Air Board of Town Commissioners and Staff wish to express our gratitude to the Bel Air Independence Day Committee and all the volunteers, police departments, allied agencies, fire departments, EMS, Public Works, and all the citizens who came out to join in today's Independence Day Celebration. The weather this afternoon and evening was unfavorable, however, the countless hours of commitment, preparation, and coordination required the parade and fireworks show to go on. We applaud the efforts of everyone who worked hard, kept everyone safe, and gave their best in spite of the rain. Thank you for all that you do, year after year, to make our Independence Day a special one!"
