Bel Air Police: Glock Among Items Stolen In Rash Of Thefts
Police said that unlocked vehicles in Bel Air have been targeted.

BEL AIR, MD — A loaded Glock was one of several items stolen in a rash of thefts around Hickory Village recently, according to the Bel Air Police Department. In the aftermath of the crimes, police advised people to lock their vehicles and ensure they do not have valuables inside.
Additionally, officials are asking residents in the neighborhood who have surveillance cameras to check their recordings in case they may be able to help lead police to the suspect(s).
The thefts happened overnight between Saturday, June 9, and 3 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, police reported.

Unlocked vehicles on Switchman Drive and Train Court were struck, according to police, who said a loaded Glock 19 9 mm was stolen from a vehicle in one of the thefts.
Vehicles on Majors Choice and around the Hickory Hills complex may have also been accessed, officials said.

The Bel Air Police Department has asked residents from the neighborhoods where the thefts occurred to check their surveillance cameras for suspicious activity between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Anyone who has seen suspicious activity, who has had items stolen from their vehicles or who may have any other information about the thefts is asked to call the Bel Air Police Department at 410-638-4500.
