Bel Air Police: U-Haul Bandits Stole Power Wheels, TVs
There is a reward of up to $2,000 for information about suspects in thefts from Tollgate Marketplace.
The Bel Air Police Department is seeking information about a series of crimes in which the suspects used a U-Haul as their getaway vehicle.
More than $10,000 in merchandise was stolen from HH Gregg and Toys R Us in the Tollgate Marketplace between July 11 and July 16, according to Detective Sergeant Jim Lockard of the Bel Air Police Department.
The suspects loaded Samsung televisions and children’s Power Wheels into a 20-foot U-Haul truck that said “Oregon Deep Rover” on the sides, then drove away, police reported.

Investigators say the suspects may be involved in similar crimes in Laurel and Baltimore County.

There is also a cash reward of up to to $2,000 for tips to Metro Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and/or indictment of a suspect may qualify for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
To be eligible for the reward, call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP; text “MCS” plus the message to “CRIMES” (274637); or submit tips online.
