Bel Air Schools Placed On Brief Lockdown When Armed Person Reported Near ShopRite

BEL AIR, MD — Schools were placed on lockdown briefly Wednesday after the Bel Air Police Department was notified about an armed individual seen near the ShopRite grocery store at Broadway and Main Street.

The police department shared in a Facebook post that the area was checked and a suspect wasn't found. No additional information was available from the police department.
