Bel Air Police Department Announces Sudden Death Of Senior Officer Zachary Miller

BEL AIR, MD — The Bel Air Police Department shared Thursday that Senior Officer Zachary Miller suffered a fatal medical emergency Feb. 28.

Miller had been with the department since 1981 and celebrated his 43rd work anniversary Feb. 16.

"It's with profound sadness and absolute heartbreak that the Bel Air Police Department announces the passing of Senior Officer Zachary Miller ... (he) was well-known and loved throughout the law enforcement community and the town of Bel Air. He was incredibly dedicated to the town and its citizens and constantly put the needs of others before his own," the police department stated on its Facebook page.

Miller's family has asked that any donations be made in his name to the Bel Air Police Department c/o Zack Miller Donation Fund.
