Bel Air Sets Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting for 2015

The 26th Annual Town of Bel Air Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Celebration is upon us, and that means that Main Street is prepping for stilt-walkers, marching bands, beauty queens, floats, horses and other festive guests.

Of course, Mr. and Mrs. Claus have already sent in their RSVP.

Here’s the schedule of events for Sunday, Dec. 6:

• 2:30 p.m.—Concert on Main Street in front of the courthouse
• 3:30 p.m.—Parade, from courthouse down Main Street to Lee Street to Shamrock Park
• 4 p.m.—Community bonfire and singalong in Shamrock Park with free cookies and hot chocolate
• 4:45 p.m.—Tree lighting at Town Hall

The festivities are weather-permitting. If there is bad weather, the event will be canceled and not rescheduled.
