2-Alarm Townhouse Fire Breaks Out In Bel Air

A firefighter suffered a minor injury fighting a townhouse blaze in Bel Air Saturday, according to officials.

BEL AIR, MD — Firefighters battled a two-alarm townhouse fire in Bel Air Saturday night, officials reported. One firefighter was injured during the process, according to authorities.

Crews were on Hunters Run Terrace at 9:15 p.m., according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

When they arrived, he said they found an end-of-group townhouse with "well involved," with fire that had spread to adjoining homes.

One firefighter was treated for a minor injury, Gardiner said, and was treated before returning to assist. Multiple fire companies responded to the townhouse fire, he noted.

According to Gardiner, the cause of the blaze was not yet known.
