Bel Air Townhouse Fire Under Investigation

Officials said firefighters brought the one-alarm fire in Bel Air under control in 30 minutes Saturday.

BEL AIR, MD — Firefighters battled a townhouse fire Saturday morning in Bel Air.

Officials were called to the 400 block of Amelanchier Court at 10:07 a.m., according to Jenn Chenworth, spokesperson for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

Crews brought the one-alarm fire under control in 30 minutes, Chenworth said.

Nobody was injured in the fire, officials reported. Roads in the area were closed during the response and for cleanup.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
