Bel Air Traffic Advisory for 2016 Christmas Parade

BEL AIR, MD — A stretch of Main Street in downtown Bel Air will be closed for the town's annual Christmas parade starting at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Bel Air Police Department.

Main Street will be closed between MD 22/Churchville Road and Lee Street from 2:30 p.m. until approximately 5 p.m. Drivers should expect congestion if they are headed for this area.

Police offered this information about parking:

• Spectators are encouraged to park in the Hickory Street parking garage or Hays and Thomas Street lots.
• Parking meters will not be enforced in town lots on Sunday.

The parade starts at 3:30 p.m. and travels along Main Street north from Churchville Road to Lee Street to Hickory Avenue.
