Bel Air Wallet Thieves Rack Up $2,500 Credit Card Bill: Police

Police said a theft on Main Street in Bel Air led to thousands of dollars' worth of charges at nearby stores.

BEL AIR, MD — A wallet was stolen recently on Main Street in Bel Air, according to police, who said the thieves proceeded to charge $2,500 to the victim's credit cards.

Police said the theft occurred on Tuesday, July 20, in the 100 block of South Main Street.

Officials released photos of the suspects, who police said purchased gift cards from Home Depot and Target in Bel Air with the stolen credit cards.
