8 Hospitalized After Crash on Belair Road: Officials

Collision in Fallston trapped two people and shut down road, Harford emergency officials say.

FALLSTON, MD – Eight people were hospitalized after a crash on Belair Road Saturday afternoon, according to emergency officials. The victims' injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Two people were trapped when first responders were called to a crash in the 2500 block of Belair Road at approximately 3 p.m., according to Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association spokeswoman Jenn Chenworth.

By 3:11 p.m., both individuals had been rescued, according to Chenworth.

Multiple medic units responded to the scene.

Two people were taken to a regional trauma center, and six were taken to local hospitals.

Belair Road was closed in the area after 3 p.m.
