Boaters, Dog Stranded For Days Rescued By Susquehanna Hose Company Firefighters
Two boaters and their dog stranded for several days in the Chesapeake Bay were rescued Tuesday by the Susquehanna Hose Company.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Two individuals and their dog stranded on an "island" in the Chesapeake Bay near Millard Tydings Memorial Park for several days were rescued Tuesday shortly before 5:30 p.m.
The Susquehanna Hose Company's Air Boat 5 led the rescue and no medical services were needed afterward, according to the fire company.
An individual posted on Facebook that the involved couple were friends and they were fine.

"They’re resting in a local motel and we’re going to start looking at a plan to recover the boat and get it over to the tidings marina," wrote Capt. Vicky Miller.
