Bomb Report At Joppatowne High School Finds No Threat
A bomb threat was made against Joppatowne High School Wednesday morning. Law enforcement has since declared the building safe.
JOPPATOWNE, MD — High school students were evacuated to the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church Wednesday morning after school leaders were notified of a bomb threat made against Joppatowne High School. All students and staff were immediately ushered from the building.
The bomb threat was made during students' arrival time, so students on buses remained on their buses and were relocated. This affected some bus routes for middle school and elementary students who were notified of the delay, school officials noted on their website.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office and other emergency personnel scoured the building and determined it to be safe for students and staff, school leaders said.
