Bomb Threat Aimed At Aberdeen High School Ruled Not Credible: Police

Aberdeen Police investigated a bomb threat targeting Aberdeen High School this week. The threat made on social media was ruled not credible.

ABERDEEN, MD — A potential bomb threat targeted Aberdeen High School was investigated by police this week.

Tuesday around 2:27 a.m., Aberdeen police officers were informed of a potential bomb threat at the school. A school employee reported to police that a threat was received on social media and forwarded images with comments to investigators, Captain C. William Reiber with the Aberdeen Police Department reported.

Detectives investigated the message's origins and the threat was determined to not be credible and there was no threat to the school's students and staff.
