Bookstore Opens At Bel Air Armory
There is now a used bookstore located off Main Street in Bel Air.
BEL AIR, MD — There is now an independent bookstore at the Bel Air Armory Marketplace. Caprichos Books, which sells used books, opened this month.
Husband and wife team Jeff and Liz Decker leased one of the garage bays behind the armory to house the shop.
Caprichos Books evolved out of the Deckers' expanding collection of books that outgrew their Bel Air home.

They said they got the startup money from online book sales and are pleased to announce the opening of a store with personalized service.
Caprichos Books offers used books as well as a buyback and trade program, according to the town of Bel Air.

Town officials report that a book club may be in the works.
The bookstore is the latest tenant to enter the Bel Air Armory Marketplace, a rehabbed bank of garage bays behind the iconic Main Street structure that have been converted into suites at discounted rates. Others leasing space at the business incubator are Love Evolution Yoga Studio, Kore Bootcamps, Harford Artists Gallery and Ferrari Frame & Design.
Caprichos Books is at 37 North Main Street, Suite 102, in Bel Air.
Here are the hours:
- 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday
- 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday
- 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday
- By appointment Monday and Tuesday
