Box Truck Crash Clears on I-95: Officials

Transportation officials said delays were several miles long after debris, fuel spill Friday.

A box truck crash on Interstate 95 south in Harford County caused lane closures for approximately two hours midday on Friday, transportation officials said.

The box truck spilled debris and leaked fuel after the crash on I-95 south near the exit for MD 152, the Maryland Transportation Authority reported.

By approximately 2 p.m., all lanes had reopened, according to officials, who said delays remained in the area.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. near mile marker 71; and three lanes were closed on I-95 south in the area for cleanup in the hours that followed, according to transportation officials.

The Maryland Transportation Authority advised taking US 40 as an alternate, as backups were more than 3.5 miles long around 12:15 p.m.
