Bridal Boutique In Bel Air Celebrates 10 Years In Business

BEL AIR, MD — A bridal boutique in Bel Air is celebrating 10 years in business. Along the way it has grown on Main Street and joined forces with other Harford County wedding-themed vendors.

K&B Bridals will celebrate its milestone anniversary this week with a party for engaged brides and their guests at its location on South Main Street.

In 2010, Bridget Moore opened the wedding gown shop at 54 North Main Street in Bel Air, selling gowns, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, dresses for mothers and accessories.

As the business grew, the shop moved to a new spot on South Main Street.

In the new store at 24 South Main Street, Moore invited other women-owned businesses to join K&B Bridals to form a wedding collective called Be More Inspired Wedding Studio.

"We can have vendors meet with people under one roof so brides aren't running all over the place," Moore told Patch in 2014 when Be More Inspired opened.

The studio brings together a cadre of wedding specialists: K&B Bridals, Faye Daniel Designs, Blush Floral Design Studio, Moore & Co. Event Stylists and Travelworks International.

Now, Moore said she continues to focus on growth, based on the success of her staff.

"I'm excited for the future and hope K&B Bridals continues to be the go-to destination for brides in Maryland, and beyond," said Moore, who plans to open additional stores. No locations have been identified.

K&B Bridals is at 24 South Main St. in Bel Air.

At a cocktail party called the Bubbly Soiree, K&B Bridals and Be More Inspired Wedding Studio will celebrate the bridal shop's 10-year milestone. Brides-to-be and their guests will be treated to food, drinks, dancing, beauty bar pampering and carriage rides in downtown Bel Air Saturday night. The first 50 guests will receive Kate Aspen gifts, and there will be a honeymoon giveaway at the end of the evening as well as other vendor giveaways throughout the event. Register for the Bubbly Soiree, which will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29.
