Bridge In Forest Hill Is Closing For 4 Weeks

The closure will allow for cleaning and painting of the Boggs Road Bridge.

From Harford County Government: The Boggs Road Bridge, located between High Point Road and Grafton Shop Road in Forest Hill, will be closed beginning on Tuesday, July 9, for approximately four weeks. Harford County Department of Public Works – Bureau of Construction Inspections is closing this section of roadway to allow for cleaning and painting of the bridge over Long Branch, a tributary of Winters Run.

Local residents and emergency crews will have access to their properties up to the work zone, which is located at 1323 Boggs Road, but no traffic will be permitted over the bridge until the work is completed.

Travelers should follow posted detour signs or make other arrangements during this closure.
