Broom's Bloom Fire Contained, $2K In Damage Estimated: Officials
Fire broke out at the dairy farm/restaurant off Route 543 on Monday, Harford County fire and EMS officials say.
BEL AIR, MD - Crews handled a fire at Brooms Bloom Dairy Monday afternoon, according to Harford County fire officials.
Abingdon, Bel Air and Level firefighters responded to the blaze at the dairy farm/restaurant at approximately 3 p.m., according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
They located the fire in the bathroom of the store in the 1700 block of South Fountain Green Road, Gardiner said.

Flames had extended from the bathroom to the attic area, according to officials, who said crews quickly worked to contain it.
The cause of the fire was a malfunctioning fan, Gardiner said.

There was an estimated $2,000 in damage, officials reported, and nobody was injured.
