10-Acre Brush Fire Spreads, Burns White Hall Home And Cars In Garage: State Fire Marshal
A White Hall home and vehicles inside its garage were damaged when a 10-acre brush fire spread to the neighboring property.

WHITE HALL, MD — A 10-acre brush fire broke out on a White Hall property and spread to a neighboring yard, burning a corner of the home at 4932 Norrisville Road.
The homeowner discovered the fire and was able to contain it with a garden hose. Two vehicles within the home's garage sustained body damage due to the fire, reported the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
The fire broke out shortly before 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the call and 65 firefighters battled the fire for about two hours. The home sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.
