Building Fire Reported In Edgewood
BREAKING: Smoke was reportedly coming from a strip mall on Route 40.

EDGEWOOD, MD — First responders handled a fire that broke out Wednesday night at a strip mall in Edgewood, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
Heavy smoke was coming from the Sally Beauty Supply in the 1400 block of Pulaski Highway, the fire company reported at 11 p.m. Additional firefighters were dispatched to the blaze.
By 11:15 p.m., authorities said that the visible fire was out and crews from Joppa-Magnolia, Abingdon and APG were working to check for any spots where the flames may have spread. They were also clearing smoke from the building.

The fire marshal was requested to investigate the blaze.
