Bull Rider Trampled at Harford Farm Fair: Officials

Harford County emergency spokesman said a helicopter took the injured bull rider from the fairgrounds Sunday afternoon.

A bull rider was airlifted from the Harford County Farm Fair Sunday afternoon with serious injuries after being stepped on by a bull, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

At 3:06 p.m. on Sunday, the bull rider was flown out of the area because he had been trampled by a bull, Gardiner said. The red lot at the farm fair was being used as the landing zone for the Maryland State Police helicopter, he added.

According to Gardiner, a bull stepped on the bull rider, who had ”serious injuries to the facial region” as a result.
