Burglars Ransack Bel Air Vape Shop: Police

Police said three people broke into Vape Runners and were caught on camera. Can you identify them?

BEL AIR, MD — Three people broke into a vape shop in Bel Air and ransacked the business, police said. Authorities need help identifying the suspects, and two agencies are offering rewards.

According to officials, three people smashed the front door to Vape Runners. Once inside the business in the 200 block of Gateway Drive, they ransacked the front counter area.

Surveillance cameras recorded the time of the burglary as 4:11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13. Vape Runners reported that it was the second time in two months that the business has been hit, and cameras showed the suspects running toward an apartment development behind the store afterward.

Various vaping "juices" and other supplies were taken during the burglary, according to Detective Maro.

One suspect appeared to be wearing a pair of black Nike sneakers with a white swoosh, police said. Officials noted that the use of night vision may make the color of clothing look different than it actually is.

Vape Runners is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and prosecution, and Metro Crime Stoppers is offering up to $3,000 for information as well.
