C. Milton Wright Softball Bound for State Semifinals

After locking up the 3A north title in the regional championship last week, the C. Milton Wright Mustangs travel to Anne Arundel County Tuesday for the state softball semifinals.

The Mustangs beat the Westminster Owls in the 3A north playoff Thursday in Carroll County, 9-6, in a game that went into 10 innings, according to The Aegis.

Next, the Mustangs will take on the Northern High School Patriots, which The Calvert Recorder reports are the six-time defending champions of the 3A state title.

The state semifinal game will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, at Bachman Sports Complex in Glen Burnie. Admission is $6 for individuals older than 7 years.
