Essential tremor is a neurological condition that causes a rhythmic trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs or trunk. It is often confused with Parkinson’s disease although essential tremor is eight times more common, affecting an estimated 7 to 10 million Americans and millions more worldwide. The next meeting of our support group has been scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026 at the McFaul Activities Center from 1-3PM at 525 W Macpahil Rd in Bel Air (directly behind the MVA). In addition to an open discussion, we will have a representative from Insightec, to share some information on focused ultrasound. In addition, I can share my personal journey to deep brain stimulation. Please feel free to invite your friends, relatives, and caregivers to join us as well.
