Experience an unforgettable comedy brought to life by Stage Wright, featuring the story of one eccentric widow and her greedy family. Don't miss this amateur performance of a classic theatrical production at C. Milton Wright High School.
When the delightfully eccentric Mrs. Savage inherits a fortune, she has big plans to use it to spread happiness and help others fulfill their dreams. Unfortunately, her greedy stepchildren have other ideas. Determined to get their hands on her money, they have her committed to a private sanatorium called The Cloisters.
But what Mrs. Savage discovers inside is something she never expected: a wonderfully quirky group of residents whose kindness, honesty, and compassion stand in sharp contrast to the so-called "sane" world outside.
Filled with clever humor, colorful characters, unexpected twists, and touching moments, The Curious Savage is a story about greed, generosity, friendship, and what it truly means to be rich.
Come for the laughs. Leave with a little more faith in humanity.
