Camper Fire In Harford County Under Investigation

JOPPA, MD — A fire that broke out inside a camper in a Harford County parking lot is under investigation by state authorities.

According to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, authorities responded to the south of Reckord Road Park shortly before 11 p.m. Friday. When authorities arrived, they found a 30-foot pull-behind Prowler camper in flames.

According to the fire marshal's office, the camper was in a parking lot at the time of the fire. Local residents reported seeing the camper there as early as Wednesday.

The cause of the fire was unknown.

No injuries were reported. Authorities have not confirmed who owns the camper.
