Chance of Flash Flooding as Storms Roll In Thursday (EXPIRED)

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook throughout the region with heavy rain in Thursday’s forecast.

According to the NWS, because the region has experienced such dry weather in the last week, these particular storms present the risk of flash flooding, especially in more urbanized areas.

Heavy rainfall is expected to arrive in the area in the late morning and early-afternoon hours, and the NWS hourly forecast says there’s a chance of thunderstorms.

Rainfall will remain in the forecast Thursday evening and exit the region overnight.
