Harford County's Cherry Hill Road Bridge Reopens To Traffic After Closing For Repairs

Harford county's historic Cherry Hill Road bridge has reopened to traffic after being closed for repairs from storm damage last summer.

The Cherry Hill bridge, located near the intersection of Cherry Hill Road and Route 24 (Rocks Road), is adjacent to the 4-H camp and is a Harford County Historic Landmark. It underwent repairs earlier this month and has reopened.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The Cherry Hill Road bridge spanning Deer Creek in Street has reopened after a weeklong closure in early April.

Sections of the bridge sustained damage after a tree fell on it last summer. Repairs were made to the bridge earlier this month, including replacing its metal Canton Ohio Wrought Iron Bridge Company sign courtesy of a Pennsylvania foundry.

The bridge, located near the intersection of Cherry Hill Road and Route 24 (Rocks Road), is adjacent to the 4-H camp and is a Harford County Historic Landmark.
