​Cheryl Elaine Todd, 55, Of Bel Air

Cheryl Elaine Todd, 55, of Bel Air, passed away on April 10, 2017, at her home. Born in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of CW4 Willie and Viola (Lewis) Thompson. She was the consummate homemaker, mother, and best friend to her husband, family and friends.

An avid quilter and community volunteer for such organizations as Band Together and Harford County Public Schools, she loved to cook and bake, enjoyed reading, loved the Arts and especially Broadway plays, and was an active member of the Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC).

Mrs. Todd is survived by her husband of 26 years, Col. Keitron Todd, U.S. Army Retired; children, Michael Benjamin Todd and Carolyn Lenora Todd both of Bel Air; sister, Roslyn Hines of Virginia; brother, Michael L. Thompson of Ohio; and brother, Frederick W. Thompson of California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Thompson.Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association - Maryland, 217 E. Visitation will be from 7–9 p.m. on Friday, April 21, at McComas Funeral Home, 1317 Cokesbury Road in Abingdon.

A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, at APG South Chapel in Edgewood.

Burial will occur at Arlington National Cemetery, 1 Memorial Drive in Arlington, Virginia.
