Chess Tournament in Bel Air on Oct. 10

Emmorton Recreation will host a National Chess Day Tournament at the on October 10. The tournament has three sections (Open, U1600, U1200) which allows players to be paired against others near their playing strength.

The tournament is a four round Swiss System where players are not eliminated and therefore have the opportunity to play in all four rounds. The time control is 60 minutes with a 5 second delay.

Schedule:

Registration / Check-in; 8:00 - 8:45:
Round 1; 9:00:
Round 2, 11:00,
Round 3, 2:15:
Round 4, 4:30.
