Chess Tournament on Oct 10!

Emmorton Recreation will host a National Chess Day Tournament at the on October 10. The tournament has three sections (Open, U1600, U1200) which allows players to be paired against others near their playing strength.

This is a four round Swiss System where players are not eliminated and therefore have the opportunity to play in all four rounds. The time control is 60 minutes with a 5 second delay.

Schedule:

Registration / Check-in; 8:00 - 8:45:
Round 1; 9:00:
Round 2, 11:00,
Round 3, 2:15:
Round 4, 4:30.
