Child Hit by Vehicle in Joppa Friday Morning: Officials

JOPPA, MD — A child was hit by a vehicle and injured on Joppa Farm Road Friday morning, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. The juvenile's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, the fire company reported.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., first responders said they were dispatched to Joppa Farm Road at Duryea Drive, where a child had been hit by a vehicle.

The child was taken to Franklin Square Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, officials reported.
