Child Hospitalized From Pool Incident In Edgewood: Officials

EDGEWOOD, MD — Authorities said a child was hospitalized Sunday following an incident in a swimming pool. The emergency occurred at 4:33 p.m., according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, which responded.

A fire engine and paramedic from Joppa-Magnolia arrived at the 300 block of Laburbnum Road.

The child was taken in stable condition to Johns Hopkins Children's Center, according to Joppa-Magnolia.
