Child Impaled By Bicycle Handle Flown To Hospital For Surgery
A child who fell off his bike and was impaled by the bicycle handle was flown to the hospital for surgery, according to the fire department.
BEL AIR, MD — A child was injured after falling off his bike and impaling his upper leg with the handlebar Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Harford County Department of Emergency Services, the Maryland State Police's medevac landed at Forest Lakes Elementary School to fly the boy to the hospital.

A woman stated on Facebook that she was the little boy's aunt posted that he was flown to Johns Hopkins Hospital where her nephew underwent surgery to remove the handlebar.
"No broken bones and he will be okay," she posted. "Again, thank you for all the prayers."
