Child Porn Charges Filed Against Former Harford Co. EMT

Jurel Daquone Leo Bowman, 32, faces child porn charges including the production of, receiving and possessing child sex abuse material.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A Calver County man who worked as a Harford County EMT has been indicted in connection to child sexual exploitation charges.

Jurel Daquone Leo Bowman, 32, of Lusby, was arrested July 2 at work and taken to the Harford County Detention Center where he has been held without bond.

On Thursday, officials announced that Bowman has been charged with producing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity, receipt of CSAM and possession of CSAM. Bowman previously served as a Harford County emergency medical technician.

According to the indictment, between August 2022 and April 2026, Bowman sexually exploited minors using his cellphone and an online social media application. Bowman paid hundreds of dollars for sexually explicit images and videos of the minors. Bowman also repeatedly attempted to coerce minors to meet him in person in order to engage in sex acts in exchange for money.

Investigators believe there may be other potential victims, noted Kelly O. Hayes, U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland.
