Child Pornography Charges Waged Against Kingsville Man
The Harford County man was charged with nine offenses after a Maryland State Police investigation into child pornography.

BEL AIR, MD — A Kingsville man was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography, according to Maryland State Police. Investigators said they traced images of child pornography to a computer in Harford County linked to the man, which resulted in his arrest.
Daniel Chetelat Jr., 49, of the 2500 block of Whitt Road, was charged with three counts of child pornography distribution and six counts of child pornography possession. Court records show the offenses occurred on Dec. 28, 2017.
Police said that Chetelat was arrested at his home in Harford County on Tuesday after Maryland State Police and Homeland Security investigators searched his residence and found images and videos of child pornography on his electronic devices.

Detectives said they received multiple downloads of child pornography from a computer traced to Chetelat in January and obtained a warrant.
The investigation is ongoing, officials reported.

Chetelat was taken to the Harford County Detention Center, where he was being held on $50,000 bail.
