Chocolate, Candy and Cash—Oh My!

Entries are being accepted for the 10th annual Chocolate and Candy Festival design contest.

If you like junk food and have artistic aspirations, you might be able to win cash for your talents.

The 10th annual Chocolate and Candy Festival, which will be hosted by the Downtown Alliance on March 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is seeking entries for the event's design.

Not only will three finalists receive complimentary tickets to the festival along with other prizes, but the winner will get $150. All promotional and marketing materials for the event will feature the winner's design and name.

Executive Director of the Downtown Alliance Scott Walker said this is a significant year for the event.

"Not only is it the 10th anniversary of the Chocolate and Candy Festival, but it also the 10th anniversary of the Bel Air Downtown Alliance.  This contest is just one opportunity we are offering to our loyal followers to be part of the celebration," Walker said in a statement.
