Christmas Crash In Bel Air Involved Traffic Stop Getaway: Report
Two people were reportedly injured in a crash on MD 543 at MD 22 on Christmas night.

BEL AIR, MD — Two drivers were reportedly injured in a crash on Christmas night in Bel Air. The crash was said to have occurred after a police officer initiated a stop.
Around 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 25, one driver was trying to elude a traffic stop and ended up in a wreck on MD 543 at MD 22, police told The Baltimore Sun.
The trooper had turned on lights and sirens in an attempt to pull over the driver when the vehicle took off, ran a red light and hit a Jeep, according to WBAL, which reported authorities were awaiting test results before filing charges in the crash due to suspected impairment.

Neither injury was severe, according to Fox 45.
