Christmas Festival Of Lights Dazzles Off Route 22

A Bel Air church has a drive-through light show with dancing trees and more than 101,000 LEDs.

BEL AIR, MD — Right off Route 22 is a drive-through light show featuring dancing trees and other dazzling attractions. The show is at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, and on the weekends, it also opens up its train garden.

This marks the seventh year for St. Matthew's holiday display, designed by Bel Air resident Jim Kurtz in collaboration with St. Matthew Pastor Blaise Sedney.

There are 16 reindeer, three "mega trees" that move with music and a nativity scene. A team of volunteers spent hours stringing up the more than 101,000 LEDs around the church campus.
