Christopher 'Rog' Rogers, 43, of Bel Air

Christopher M. Rogers "Rog," 43, of Bel Air, passed away on March 1, 2016, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Born in Asheville, N.C., he is the son of Anthony Lewis Rogers and Linda Darnell (Dailey) Rogers of Bel Air. He was a 1991 graduate of Neshaminy High School in Bucks County, Pa., where he was co-captain of their football team. Voted "Mr. Redskin," he made Bucks County All County Conference and was voted into the Football Hall of Fame for the Neshaminy football team. He went on to play rugby and football for Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a degree in journalism and mass communications. He coached Parks and Rec football for Fallston Rec, loved all types of music and enjoyed karaoke. He was a member of the American Legion in Bel Air and Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity in Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Antonia L. Rogers of Bel Air. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Hugh and Mary Rogers, Glen and Mattie Dailey, and his cousin, Jeffrey Stillwell.

A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 7, at McComas Funeral Home, 1317 Cokesbury Road in Abingdon.
