Church In Bel Air Vandalized With Slurs: Police

Police said that a Bel Air chapel was the scene of a crime, and investigators are looking for those responsible for the offensive graffiti.

BEL AIR, MD — A church in Bel Air was burglarized and spray-painted with hateful graffiti recently, according to police. Investigators are asking for help identifying the suspects, who were caught on surveillance camera.

The crime took place at Bel Air United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 14, officials said.

Two burglars went into chapel at the church on 21 Linwood Avenue, and it was there that they spray-painted racist and anti-gay slurs, according to Bel Air police.
